Experience a truly immersive performance unlike any you have ever witnessed at Within These Walls presented by Landing Theatre. Within These Walls is a collection of new works commissioned by The Landing Theatre Company from local playwrights for a site-specific micro theatre project set in a specific house in the Heights. If you’re looking for something out-of-the-box to do this weekend, look no further than this special series!
These performances will be immersive theatre experiences where the audience sits in the world of the play. There are only 18 seats per performance, providing a uniquely intimate perspective on these thought-provoking new stories.
The Visit by Esme Wu is an intense drama about family treasures. It’s been six months since Sharona died. Her husband Scott is at home waiting for the visit of Suze, Ro’s sister, who is coming to collect some of her sister’s belongings. The two have personalities and points of view at polar opposites and are prone to clashing on ideas. When a valuable necklace passed down from their grandmother is missing from her sister’s possessions, tempers flare, and through the conflict the importance of the true jewels of the family are uncovered.
There will be performances 7 days a week (except for Halloween night) in rotation throughout the run. Tickets are available for each show and are sold separately.
