Pay Homage to Your Community During a Day That Spotlights the Bayou Greenway

On Saturday, April 6th, Houston Parks Board will host the fifth annual Bayou Greenway Day along Brays Bayou Greenway at Mason Park, the site of the recently completed Mason Park Pedestrian Bridge. On Bayou Greenway Day, Houstonians from all neighborhoods are invited to experience the transformation happening along their bayous as part of Bayou Greenways 2020.

Bayou Greenway Day is one of the most ambitious parks projects in the country that will transform our bayou system into 150 miles of linear parks and hike-and-bike trails. It’s a celebration of Houston’s parks, trails, and the Bayou Greenways. The annual event provides families with an opportunity to enjoy greenspace as they walk, bike, run, stroll, play, and picnic along Brays Bayou.

Event festivities will be provided by Houston nonprofits, neighborhood organizations, and local businesses. Activities include live music, an Easter egg hunt, soccer games with Houston Dynamo staff, and much more. This family event is free to the public and everyone is welcome to join! However, we kindly ask you register via https://www.eventbrite.com.

Free offsite parking with shuttles will quickly take participants to the event site. Please be respectful of the surrounding neighborhoods. We look forward to seeing you there!

Even though Riverwalk Apartments in Houston, Texas provides you with all of the comfort, convenience, and entertainment you could possibly desire, we encourage our residents to venture outside of our apartment community and explore all that the city has to offer!

Event Time/Date:
