The Masters of Mexican Cinema Return to the Big Screen

See the masterpieces of Mexican filmmakers at the Museum of Fine Arts! To complement the museum’s special exhibition "Paint the Revolution: Mexican Modernism, 1910–1950," a special series of screenings will highlight the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema.

Fourteen films will be shown in Spanish with English subtitles, all released between 1940-59, a two-decade period that saw a boom in the Mexican film industry. Don’t miss this showcase of Mexico’s cinematic “golden age” with classics featuring legendary actors like Maria Félix, Dolores Del Rio, Tin-Tan, and more!

The next screening will present Juan Bustillo Oro’s comedy, You’re Missing the Point (Ahí está detalle). Don’t miss the chance to see it on the big screen!
