Your Favorite Event Is Back: Join Us for The Bayou City Art Festival

One of our favorite events is back. The Bayou City Art Festival sets up at Memorial Park in the spring and downtown in the fall, spreading the love for art lovers all over the Bayou City. This year's featured artist is Dania Olivares, a mixed-media artist who has been known to dabble with recycled materials. This will be the 45th year that organizer Art Colony Association has been bringing together artists and art connoisseurs.

The Art Colony Association, Inc. produces one of the top-ranked fine art festivals in the country. Over the past 45 years Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park in the spring and Downtown in the fall have raised approximately 3.5 million dollars for local nonprofit programs throughout the Greater Houston area. On October 8-9 the Downtown festival will host 300 artists in 19 different mediums. The festival is a sophisticated outdoor gallery under the iconic Houston skyline, transforming our streets into artistic avenues bursting with color. Patrons can also enjoy music, entertainment, food trucks and the Children’s Creative Zone.

Community interaction is an important part of life, which is why Riverwalk Apartments in Houston, Texas is urging you to join in the all of the excitement at this event!
